Tom has 10 years experience working in private physiotherapy and sports injury clinics, the NHS and elite sport. He currently combines his work at The Physio Clinic with a part-time role at Spire Perform at St George’s Park near Burton, HQ for the Football Association and England Football teams.
Prior to this he has worked with GB Canoe at Holme Pierrepont, UK Athletics at national championships, elite athletes at Loughborough University and with Birmingham City FC academy. He has also worked in the NHS at Burton Hospital as a Senior Musculoskeletal Outpatient Physiotherapist.
Outside of work he is a keen distance runner, having run for England over the half marathon distance in 2011 and finishing 21st in the Great North Run in 2012 in 65 minutes. He has also competed regularly at national level on the track/road and cross country over the last 15 years. Last year he completed his first marathon in London in 2hrs 29mins and will hopefully do another one soon, whenever he gets round to doing some training!
